How corpn works

corpn is a bulletin board with power tools. Companies post contracts and browse senior profiles; contractors publish profiles and browse contracts. Each side decides independently whom to contact and whether to work together — the platform never decides anything for anyone. Here is the whole loop, start to finish.

Step 1 — Post or browse

Companies post contract roles with real scope and real rate expectations. Contractors publish profiles carrying skills, certifications, rate band, availability, and engagement history. Both are browsable and searchable from day one — no seat required to look, on either side.

Profiles are obfuscated: a display name, not a real one. What shows is everything a serious buyer actually screens on — skills, rates, experience, track record — and nothing that identifies the person behind it.

Step 2 — Structured pitch

When one side wants to talk, they send a structured pitch: scope, duration, rate, and a short note, in a fixed format. Starting a conversation costs the initiator a credit. There is no free-form messaging before acceptance — which is why there is no recruiter spam, no cold DMs, and no inbox full of noise. Declining is free and carries no penalty.

Step 3 — Accept and contract directly

Accepting the pitch costs the recipient a credit too — every connection is a deliberate choice by both sides. At mutual acceptance, identities unlock: names, faces, company. From there you take it wherever you want — your own agreement, your own terms, your own payment method. corpn provides an engagement workspace, time-tracking, and invoicing if you want them; they are always operated by you, never by us.

Privacy until acceptance

Obfuscation is a feature for both sides. Contractors explore their next engagement without broadcasting it. A contractor winding down one project can line up the next quietly — availability changes are never announced to anyone. Companies evaluate real qualifications without their search activity broadcasting intent, and their outreach reaches only people they chose deliberately. Real names are never searchable, ever.

Credits, explained

Credits are a spam brake, not a currency. The person who starts a conversation spends one; the person who accepts spends one. That bilateral spend is the point: it makes every connection a commitment by both parties, which is what keeps pitch quality high and inboxes quiet. Credits come with subscriptions, cannot be bought separately, do not roll over, and have no cash value. Declining or ignoring costs nothing.

What corpn never does

• Never recruits, places, or vets on anyone's behalf
